Public Budget Hearing on Agenda For Committee Meeting
The public will have a chance to discuss the 2011 municipal budget at tonight's township committee meeting.

The public hearing for the 2011 municipal budget will be held at the municipal building during the Montville Township committee's meeting tonight. The public session of the meeting begins at 8 p.m.
The budgeting process has been complicated by a library surplus, which, of both the library board and township committee, will return more than $1.4 million to the town.
In from April, deputy mayor Tim Braden called the surplus, "a nice problem to have."

Also at Tonight's Meeting
- The Kiwanis Club of Montville will present an idea for an aquatic park to be added to the Community Park, a project that at a recent recreation commission meeting.
- Ordinances will be introduced which may lead to capital improvements, water improvements and sewer improvements in the township.
