Schools Get New Phone Number

All  have one main telephone number now, according to the district's website.

Those wishing to call the school should dial 973-331-7100 and then choose from a menu of options for which school they would like to contact.

"While the new system may take a while to get accustomed to using, it will surely be a more efficient way of handling matters that affect you and your child. Instead of reporting all concerns to the main office and then being redirected to a different person, department, or building, you can save time and effort by listening to the menu and choosing the appropriate option," according to the Hilldale Elementary School website.

Also according to the district website, while the old phone numbers may currently still work, they eventually will not.
