Some Sports Cancelled, Other Games Still On

According to weather.com, it may be a rainy week in the township. It's no surprise that many of Monday's high school sports have already been cancelled. Here's a list:

• Freshman baseball at Pequannock, scheduled for 4 p.m., is cancelled.
• Varsity softball at Jefferson, scheduled for 4 p.m., is cancelled.
• Freshman and JV softball, both scheduled for 4 p.m. at are both cancelled.
• Coed track at Randolph, scheduled for 4 p.m., is cancelled.

As of now the two biggest Montville sporting events of the day, the first round of the state tournament for baseball at Montville High School at 4 p.m. and varsity tennis at the state sectional finals at Fairfield Racquet Club at 3 p.m. are not cancelled.
