Steady Stream of Voters Turn Out at Library
About 400 residents have voted at the library as of 2 p.m.
Poll workers at the said approximately 400 residents had voted in this year's school election as of Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m.
Elena Fletcher, who has been volunteering at the polls for 19 years since she was 18 years old, said last year was slightly busier than Wednesday, but that "this year is holding its own."
Last year, the budget was voted down.

Most of the poll workers at the library have been volunteering for years, including Jenny Govindani, an assistant teacher at the Goddard School, who started 17 years ago.
"I want my town to be the best," Govindani said. "The schools should be the best. ... I want good people to move into town because it is the best."

Govindani has also recruited her husband, Andy, to volunteer. He started working at the polls in Montville seven years ago.
Sally Retan has also been volunteering for 15 years, saying that it is a way to support education and the schools. President of the Montville Seniors Celia Winters, who, in her words, "volunteers for everything," finds that this is a way to support her township.
