Summer Drumming Happened So Fast

Colin Goldenberg, a Montville seventh-grader, spent part of his summer leading a rock band at a summer camp in Livingston.

"Nearly every week this summer, Colin and the Camp Horizons Rock Band entertained the campers with their renditions of hit songs and they didn’t disappoint," according to . "Their swan song was Detroit Rock City, by Kiss, and they were met with loud applause and cheers."

Colin, who also plays the saxophone, has been taking drum lessons for six years and plays in the band at .

He also likes listening to dubstep music and creating things out of duct tape, the camp said.
