Three Running for Board of Education
Three open positions on the board will be filled on April 27

Three people will run for the three open seats on the Montville Board of Education in this spring’s election.
Michael Palma, Dr. Matthew Kayne and Frank Cooney each filed nominating petitions before Tuesday's 4 p.m. deadline.
Palma and Kayne are incumbents whose seats will expire in the spring. Cooney, a Montville police officer who serves as head of the Police Explorers post, is a former board of education member who will go for the third open spot, according to business administrior Jim Tevis.

Current board member Paul Przetak will finish his term and not seek reappointment.
