Valley View Girl Scouts Clean Up School Grounds
Montville's fall clean-up event part of the Scout commitment to community. School grounds and school spirit go hand in hand.

Girl Scout Troop No. 4967, of Valley View Elementary School in Montville, NJ, honored the community’s fall clean-up day a week early this year.
To help their school and their community the Scouts spent Saturday, Oct. 10 in the sunshine. Wearing gloves and carrying bags and trash pickers, the five fifth grade students cleaned up the grounds for the benefit of the families and students who attend Valley View.
“We are so proud and grateful for the enthusiasm these Scouts exhibited. The Valley View fall clean-up was a tremendous success,” said Principal Patricia Kennedy. “Thank you girls. We appreciate your hard work.”
