Youth Rugby Begins This Week

This week in Montville there will be fundraisers, a presentation about travel, the beginning of a youth rugby season, and a township council meeting.

Here are five things you need to know this week:

1. The host of "Travel Show Live," Erik Hastings, and radio host Julie Briggs will prevent "Positive Power of Travel" at from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. There will be refreshments, a sun damage screening and travel tips from Dr. Arnold Pallay.

2. The Montville Township Committee will meet at the at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. For an agenda, check the Montville Township website.

3. will host a PTO fundraiser this week, from June 13 to 18. All purchases of Sugar Lip shirts will be 10 percent off and 10 percent of the sale will be donated to the Parent-Teacher Organization of your choosing.

5. The Montville Wanderers youth rugby team's season begins Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Park. This non-contact version of rugby is open to kids between the ages of five and fourteen. For more information, see the Montville Rugby website.
