New Details In Fatal Burlington County Crash

HAINESPORT, NJ — The two people who were in an SUV that was struck by a falling tree branch in the 1800 block of Ark Road on Tuesday were identified by New Jersey State Police.

The driver of the SUV, Albert E. Roemer Jr., 71, of Indian Mills, sustained serious injuries and was taken to an unidentified hospital after crash, authorities said.

Passenger Christine Roemer, 71, also of Indian Mills, was killed, authorities said.

The crash remained under investigation as of 10 p.m. Tuesday night, according to authorities.
