100 High Schools With Best Teachers In NJ: Moorestown Is 14th

Niche.com recently released its 2015 list of high schools with the best teachers throughout the nation, as well as the state of New Jersey, and many schools you’ll recognize received high ranks. Moorestown High School is ranked No. 14 in New Jersey.

Moorestown earned the high ranking following a survey of 21 Moorestown High School students and parents concerning the the quality of the teachers. Princeton teachers earned an average score of 4 out of 5. Respondents gave Moorestown an A for academics.

The survey found that 16.8 percent of the school’s teachers miss 10 days or more due to sickness or personal reasons; 9.3 percent of the teachers are in their first or second year; and the student to teacher ratio is 13:1.

The average Moorestown High School teacher makes $77,981 a year.
