17 Inducted Into 3 Moorestown Friends School Honor Societies
Inductions into the Chinese, French and Spanish honor societies took place on May 17.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A total of 17 students at Moorestown Friends School were inducted into the Chinese, French, and Spanish National Honor Societies on May 17, the school announced. The students were joined by their families, teachers, and staff members for a formal banquet in the Dining Hall Commons, followed by a ceremony in the Meeting House.
Inducted into the National Chinese Honor Society were juniors Chloe Chen (Lumberton), Vishal Doshi (Cherry Hill), Carolyn Feigeles(Westampton), Gwen Gignac (Haddon Township), Chloe Jones (Haddon Township), Alexis Kasper (Voorhees), Andrew Landesman(Medford), Ian Millstein (Moorestown), and Alexis Watson (Moorestown).
The National Chinese Honor Society was established in November 1993 to recognize those accomplished high school students who study Chinese as a world language. The National Chinese Honor Society is a scholastic organization that promotes and recognizes students with good citizenship, leadership, and deeds of community service.

Inducted into the National French Honor Society (Société Honoraire de Français) were juniors Michael Cherfane (Cherry Hill) and Samantha Ghazal (Moorestown).
The Société Honoraire de Français of the American Association of Teachers of French aims to stimulate interest in the study of French, to promote high standards of scholarship, to reward scholastic achievements, to create enthusiasm for and an understanding of francophone culture, to promote and perpetuate international friendship, and to reward efforts toward furthering solidarity in the French-speaking world. The Moorestown Friends School chapter of the honor society has been in existence since 1989.

Inducted into the National Spanish Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica) were juniors Macy Brooks (Voorhees), Amanda Cooper(Moorestown), Moises Cosme (Camden), Devin Horn (New Lisbon), and Kayleigh Schweiker (Marlton), and senior Sarina Patel(Moorestown).
The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is an honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish and Portuguese and is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. The Moorestown Friends School chapter of the honor society has been in existence since 1989.
