24 N.J. Museums To Offer Free Admission This Saturday

If the fee has been keeping you from experiencing some of New Jersey's museums and historical sites, Museum Day Live! has an offer you can't refuse.

The annual event, sponsored by Smithsonian Magazine, provides free admission this Saturday, Sept. 24, to participating museums across the country, including 24 in New Jersey.

Participating New Jersey museums and exhibits include: New Jersey State Museum & Planetarium; Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center; Montclair Art Museum; Newark Museum and more.

Here's how organizers describe the day: "Smithsonian Museum Day Live! is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket."
