446 Jobs Cut At South Jersey Grocery Distribution Center: Report
Misfits Market, a grocery delivery service, is closing its Burlington County distribution center according to BizJournals.

DELANCO, NJ — Philly-based startup Misfits Market is closing a distribution center in South Jersey, according to a report.
The company, which delivers surplus and "misfit" produce and grocery items, is also closing locations in Salt Lake City and Dallas, the report from BizJournals said.
Misfits Market will close its distribution center in Delanco, resulting in 446 layoffs, according to BizJournals. The facility is at 1000 Coopertown Road currently, and will close April 8 according to the Courier-Post.

The company began in 2018, focused on "rescuing" food that might otherwise be waste (such as funny-looking produce) to provide to neighbors who may otherwise be unable to afford healthy groceries.
