Our speaker on this special evening will be Robert Wittman, former Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and founder of the FBI Art Crime Task Force. Mr. Wittman will give a fascinating presentation on his career as an undercover agent and the recovery of over 300 million dollars’ worth of stolen art and historical artifacts. Many of the recoveries took place in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area. He is the author of Priceless: How I Went Undercover to Rescue the World’s Stolen Treasures, and The Devil’s Diary: Alfred Rosenberg and the Stolen Secrets of the Third Reich. For more information, go to http://www.robertwittmaninc.com.
Several paintings recently donated to the Historical Society will be offered for Silent Auction. Among them is Mill Street by Benjamin Eisenstat (pictured above). A full list of the paintings will be available shortly. Also available at auction will be tickets to area museums, such as the American Swedish Historical Museum, with dinner gift certificates.
Kindly RSVP by November 8th.
Tickets are $100 per person.
A Table for 8 is $700.
