Moorestown Police responded to the 900 block of Riverton Road at about 11:50 a.m. to find an audible alarm sounding and a side door forced open. "It appears that the alarm deterred the burglar(s) and nothing was stolen," police said in a statement. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detectives at 856-914-3092 or detectives@moorestownpd.com. Police remind residents that if they see something suspicious, they should report it by calling 856-234-8300. Call 911 for crimes in progress. Residents are encouraged to visit <a href="http://www.moorestownpd.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.moorestownpd.com</a> to view burglary and general crime prevention information, and to sign up online for vacation house checks.

The Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County will be giving 3 presentations on Saturday, May 9 at the opening of the Burlington County Farmers Market at the Burlington County Agricultural Center located at 500 Centerton Road in Moorestown NJ.
The presentations are:
9:30 am - 10:15 am - The Basic Care and Growing of Fig Trees (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee is required).
10:30 am to 11:15 am - Composting (no registration or fee).
11:30 am - 12:15 pm - The Basic Care and Growing of Hydrangeas (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee required).
All three presentations are near or at the Rutgers Demonstration plots (to the right of the Big Red Barn, next to the Community Gardens).
