MOORESTOWN, NJ — Multiple counties in South Jersey were placed under severe thunderstorm and flash flood warnings Wednesday.
The thunderstorm alert for northern Burlington County lasts until 6:45 p.m. and comes with possible damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines.
Residents should relocate to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building, the National Weather Service said.
Northwestern Burlington, northwestern Camden, and north/central Gloucester Counties are also under a flash flood warning until 9:45 p.m.
Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and other drainage or low-lying areas is also possible.
