MOORESTOWN, NJ — Officials are teaming up in Burlington County to collect school supplies, new backpacks, and other items ahead of children returning to class in the fall.

Beginning on Wednesday, all Burlington County Library System branches, the lobbies of Burlington County government buildings, and Senator Troy Singleton's office (400 North Church St., Suite 260, Moorestown) will be accepting donations.

"Preparing for a new school year can be difficult...but with prices rising for clothing, electronics, and other household goods, it's become an even greater challenge," Dr. Felicia Hopson, Burlington County Commissioner Director, said.

More than 500 backpacks filled with supplies were given out to children in the Summer of 2025.

"Burlington County residents and businesses have always stepped up to help any neighbors in need, and we're confident they will once again rise to the occasion," said Commissioner Randy Brolo.

This year's drive runs through Aug. 12. Only new items can be donated.
