MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — "Bojangles" is bringing its southern chicken and biscuits once again to South Jersey.
The new location in Mount Holly will join three others in the Garden State, including one in Vineland that began welcoming customers in March.
Doren Development acquired the property at 1643 Route 38 that used to be the site of "Colbie's Southern Kissed Chicken."
The eatery closed in the fall of 2025.
According to Doren's director of leasing, Anthony Doren, Bojangles along Route 38 is scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2027.
Bojangles was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1977 and has more than 870 locations in 23 states. While the chain is known for its fried chicken, they also offer a variety of sides, desserts, and re-imagined ways to enjoy a few of their staple offerings.
