Man Dies After Being Thrown From Motorcycle During NJ Crash

He hit a pole and sign along the roadway.

UPPER FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 41-year-old Chesterfield man is dead after he crashed his motorcycle along Route 27 N on Tuesday night, New Jersey State Police said.

At around 9:50 p.m., troopers responded to a vehicle crash at mile marker 1.5.

Based on early evidence, Jack R. Reilly was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle north when he lost control, drove off the right side of the road, hit a utility pole support, and crashed into a road sign.

He was then thrown from the bike and landed in a field.

The case is still under review. No further information was released at this time.
