Arbor Day Celebration In Front Of Moorestown Library Next Week
Arbor Day, the last Friday in April, is a day to celebrate the many benefits trees give us by planting a tree.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Arbor Day, the last Friday in April, is a day to celebrate the many benefits trees give us by planting a tree. This year’s Arbor Day celebration will take place on April 28, 10 a.m., in front of the Moorestown Library. This event is sponsored by the Moorestown Township Tree Planting and Preservation Committee, the Moorestown Garden Club and Moorestown Township Public Works.
We will be planting a good size evergreen in the grass circle at the end of the front parking area. We hope that it will re-enforce the location as a community center and gathering spot. The Roberts School Third Grade Chorus will perform, and 300 tree seedlings from the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign will be distributed to the public.
Join us on April 28 to celebrate Arbor Day and plant a tree!
