Bicyclist, Vehicle, Collide In Moorestown

The collision happened Tuesday, according to police.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A collision between a bicyclist and a vehicle in Moorestown sent the bike's rider to the hospital, according to police.

The collision happened shortly before 8:15 a. m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Oak Avenue and Elm Street, police said.

The 59-year-old bicyclist, who was from Moorestown, failed to stop and yield the right of way and struck a vehicle driven that was being driven another Moorestown resident, according to police.

The bicyclist was sent to Virtua's Mount Holly campus to be treated for minor injuries, police said.

There are no plans to file charges or issue citations in connection with the collision, according to police.
