Moorestown Teenager Hosting Charity Book Event to Help Underprivileged Youth

Nori Hovitz hosts "Bookitcon: Chapter Two" on Aug. 7.

Moorestown, NJ -- My name is Nori Horvitz and I am a recent graduate from Moorestown High School. I am excited to announce that I am organizing a charity book event, "Bookitcon: Chapter Two," that will be taking place at the Moorestown Community House on Sunday, Aug. 7.

"Bookitcon: Chapter Two" will be composed of author signings, meet-and-greets, two author panels, and an after party, as well as a book drive concurrent to the event.

Currently there are 30 authors participating in "Bookitcon: Chapter Two." The profits will be divided between a nonprofit called Grace in the Mud and two K-8 school libraries in Camden, NJ.

I am reaching out for multiple reasons.

1. I am holding a book drive concurrent to the event and I am looking for book donations in grades K-8 for the Camden schools and Grace in the Mud. If you have any books to donate, you can drop them off at the Moorestown Library, Moorestown Tennis Club, Institute for Medical Wellness, or bring them to the event.
