High School Locks Down After Graffiti Threat In Burlington Co.
Police found no legitimate threat and said all students and staff were safe.
MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — A Burlington County high school went into lockdown Tuesday as authorities investigated graffiti that contained a threatening message.
Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly locked down that morning as a precaution while officers examined the premises. No active threats were found, and all students and staff were safe, police said.
The lockdown was lifted Tuesday afternoon.

"We would like to extend our gratitude for the cooperation and understanding demonstrated by the community during this incident," said Mount Holly Police Cpt. Clifford Spencer.
In a separate incident a week prior, Lenape High School in Medford entered a lockdown after a "swatting" call — the criminal act of reporting a fake emergency that's designed to attract a major response from law enforcement, including SWAT teams.

Rancocas Valley High School serves students from Eastampton, Hainesport, Lumberton, Mount Holly and Westampton.
