'Unforeseen Circumstances' Lead Burlington City High School To Open Late Monday

The move was announced Monday morning.

BURLINGTON CITY, NJ — All Burlington City Schools were deemed safe on Monday after a delayed opening and multiple schools followed precautionary measures.

Burlington City High School opened on a two-hour delay, the Burlington City School District said.

Due to unforeseen circumstances," the arrival time for students was pushed back to 9:45 a.m.

Students and staff at each of the other four schools were sheltered and cleared out the buildings out of an abundance of caution.
