Burlington Co. Man Assembled Untraceable Gun: Police

Authorities say they found a 'ghost gun,' large-capacity magazine and illegal ammunition in the suspect's apartment.

MARLTON, NJ — A Marlton man assembled an untraceable firearm that investigators found in his apartment, authorities said.

Law enforcement found the "ghost gun" Thursday during a search of Brian Price's unit in the 4 building of the Olympus Apartments, according to Evesham police.

Ghost guns refer to unserialized, unregulated firearms. The illegal weapons are privately assembled and cannot be traced.

Before the search, Evesham detectives learned that Price built and possessed a ghost gun. Authorities found the firearm, a large-capacity magazine and illegal ammunition while executing the search warrant, according to police.

Price, 28, was charged with possession of an assault firearm (second-degree), purchasing firearm parts to manufacture a firearm without a serial number (second-degree), and possession of a large-capacity magazine (fourth-degree). He was placed in Burlington County Jail, pending his first court appearance.
