Burlington Co. School Shelters In Place; Suspect Caught Nearby: Police
The elementary school entered shelter-in-place protocols as authorities arrested a wanted man on a nearby street.
MARLTON, NJ — A Burlington County elementary school sheltered in place Monday morning because of nearby police activity.
At about 9 a.m., authorities issued the shelter-in-place for Helen L. Beeler Elementary School in Marlton. Law enforcement was responding to the 40 block of Radnor Boulevard to arrest a person who was wanted out of Pennsylvania.
The suspect was apprehended without incident, according to the Evesham Police Department. The shelter-in-place was lifted shortly after police activity concluded.

The U.S. Marshals Service, Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and Burlington County Sheriff's Office collaborated to arrest the wanted man.
Police haven't disclosed the suspect's identity or charges.
