Burlington County Man Assaulted 2 Underage Girls In Home: Police
Carlos Aponte is accused of sexually assaulting two underage girls he was acquainted with in his home.

A Burlington County man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting two young girls at his home, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Pemberton Township Police Chief David H. Jantas announced.
Carlos Aponte, 54 of Pemberton, is accused of sexually assaulting the girls he was acquainted with at his home in the Browns Mills section of the township, according to authorities.
Aponte was arrested at the prosecutor’s office in Mount Holly on Thursday morning. He was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

He was lodged in Burlington County Jail pending a pre-trial detention hearing. No further information was released in an effort to protect the identities of the victims.
