Burlington County Mosquito Commission Spraying on Aug. 24

A half-mile radius around New Albany Road and Lenola Road will be sprayed to control mosquitos.

Moorestown, NJ -- On Aug. 24, the Burlington County Mosquito Commission will be ground spraying at around 8 p.m. A half-mile radius around New Albany Road and Lenola Road will be sprayed.

Residents can use this checklist to help eliminate mosquitos around their home.

Any container that holds water can be a home for mosquito larvae after seven days. Residents are reminded to empty buckets, garbage cans, and recycling bins around their homes to avoid mosquitos.

Residents are also advised to empty or change water in kiddie pools every five to seven days and to keep toys turned over when not in use.
