Restaurant Forced To Leave Location In South Jersey, Business Says

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — The "Four Green Cats Cafe" is being forced out of its 118 Creek Road location by its landlords, the business said.

After six years in the Rancocas Woods community, the property owners chose not to renew the lease due to "other plans" that they would not disclose.

"Please know that leaving was not our choice," staff added. "We never wanted to disappoint you, our loyal customers, or step away from this wonderful local community."

The cafe serves traditional Czech and European dishes, like homemade pastries, coffees, and other treats, and will stay open through the end of the year.

The business's new location will go by the name "Grand Salon" and be in Haddonfield, where the team said they always wanted to be home to their second restaurant.

The cafe will be at 18 Tanner St. and is scheduled to open at the end of September.

The move into a second location has been a project in the works for the last two years, management said. The Haddonfield space will have a larger layout with a fully equipped commercial kitchen and more seating.

The new space will also be modeled off of the traditional coffee houses of Vienna and Prague.

As of September 4, the team is also hiring for multiple positions both on the Four Green Cats website and by visiting the restaurants.
