Bethel AME Church Welcomes Emmy Award-Winning Journalist Linsey Davis Home for Mother’s Day Service

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Bethel AME Church is pleased to welcome home award-winning journalist and Moorestown native Linsey Davis as the special guest speaker for its annual Mother’s Day Service on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.

The service will take place at Bethel AME Church, located at Bethel AME Church.

Davis, a two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, currently anchors “World News Tonight” Sunday and “ABC News Live Prime.” A proud daughter of Moorestown and lifelong member of the Bethel family, Davis grew up in the church and remains a source of inspiration to many throughout the community.

“Welcoming Linsey home to Bethel for Mother’s Day is a special moment for our congregation and the greater Moorestown community,” said Rev. Howard M. Jenkins, Jr., pastor of Bethel AME Church. “Her accomplishments, faith, and commitment to excellence continue to inspire young people and families alike.”

The Mother’s Day celebration will honor mothers, grandmothers, and women of faith while also highlighting the importance of family, community, and spiritual encouragement.
