Public Reading of the Declaration of Independence

As many know, the Moorestown 4th of July Parade celebrates our national pride and culture of freedom through an apolitical, non-partisan celebration of community. The parade takes place along Main Street between Union Street and Chester Avenue.

Most exciting will be a public reading of the Declaration of Independence along the Parade route at Percheron Park on the corner of Main Street and High Street at 11:45 a.m. We invite people of all ages to read a line from a large printing of the Declaration. The Declaration will have extra room at the bottom for people to sign it.
