MOORESTOWN LIONS CLUB UNVEILS "IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL" THEME FOR 65TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARADE
Parade organizers invite residents, businesses, schools, and community groups to celebrate cultures and holiday traditions from around the world at Moorestown's beloved annual holiday tradition.
MOORESTOWN, NJ – The Moorestown Lions Club is proud to announce the theme for its 65th Annual Holiday Parade, scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2026. This year's theme, "It's a Small World After All," will celebrate the diversity, traditions, and connections that unite people across communities, cultures, and generations.
A cherished Moorestown tradition for more than six decades, the Holiday Parade has brought together families, neighbors, local organizations, and businesses in a festive celebration of community spirit and holiday cheer. The parade will begin at 12:00 noon, with participants assembling between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m.
The theme serves as a reminder that although people may come from different backgrounds and customs, we are all connected through shared values of kindness, friendship, family, and community. Participants are encouraged to creatively incorporate international cultures, holiday celebrations, iconic landmarks, music, costumes, and traditions into their parade entries.
The 65th Annual Holiday Parade promises festive floats, marching bands, community organizations, local businesses, musical performances, special guests, and a visit from Santa Claus.
"For sixty-five years, our holiday parade has been about bringing people together," said John Burkhardt, Parade Chair for the Moorestown Lions Club. "The theme celebrates the idea that community extends beyond neighborhoods and borders, and that the holiday season is a time to recognize and appreciate those connections."
The Moorestown Lions Club looks forward to welcoming residents and visitors from throughout the region for an afternoon of holiday magic, community pride, and a celebration of the traditions that connect us all in a world that is, after all, a little smaller than we sometimes think.
