Candlelight Night Brightens Main Street in Moorestown Friday Night
Don't Miss Moorestown's Annual Holiday Kick-Off Event!

Candlelight Night is this Friday, November 6 from 5-9 p.m. along historic Main Street from Church Street to Chester Avenue—back to the first Friday in November by popular demand! This will be the 39th year for Moorestown’s traditional holiday shopping season kick-off event, presented by Moorestown Business Association (MBA).
Five hundred luminaries will line Main Street, where festive horse-drawn wagon rides will be offered. Adding to the fun this year, the MBA has launched a “Where’s Nipper” contest—small “Nipper” dog figures will be hidden in various stores, and those who find all of them will be entered into a drawing for prizes. (See attached flier for details.)
The event typically draws hundreds of families who enjoy strolling along Moorestown’s main corridor, stopping in candlelit shops, having a meal in town, and listening to cheerful sounds of the season. Many stores will offer hot cider, cookies, and other treats, and there will be a ‘Gingerbread House Decorating Contest’ at Long & Foster Real Estate (10 W. Main Street). Street entertainment will be provided by three musical groups, including the Moorestown High School Madrigals.

“It’s a way for our members to thank their customers and showcase what’s new for the holidays. Long-time residents really look forward to this event, and each year, we have more and more newcomers joining in the fun with their families,” said MBA Vice President and Event Chair Steven Pazienza.
Moorestown’s Candlelight Night is presented by the MBA, and event Silver Sponsors Weichert Realtors and Moorestown Hardware, and Bronze Sponsors Bidwell Chiropractic, CarePatrol, The Cleaning Authority, Mosquito Squad, and the Moorestown Theater Company.
