Car Flips Into Pond, Ejects Driver In South Jersey

The man hit multiple light poles along the way.

MEDFORD, NJ — A driver hit multiple lights before his SUV flipped over into a pond in Medford on Saturday, the Medford Police Department said.

At around 7:45 a.m., officers and fire personnel responded to the area of Route 70 and Old Marlton Pike for a vehicle crash.

Based on early evidence, Dylan Repetto, 26, of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, was driving a 2020 Jeep SUV east on Route 70 in a "reckless manner."

After running over the curbed median between Route 70 and Old Marlton Pike, he hit multiple light poles.

The Jeep then flipped over into a retention pond.

Repetto was thrown from the SUV and helped back to the road by good Samaritans.

He was then taken to Cooper University Hospital. The condition of his injuries is unknown.
