Celebrate Spring At Daffodil Day In Moorestown Saturday

Main Street Festival with Live Music, Sidewalk Art Displays, Carriage Rides, Pet Costume Contest and More!

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Get your yellow on! Moorestown Business Association (MBA) is kicking off spring with its 3nd annual Daffodil Day on Saturday, April 14, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The springtime festival draw thousands to Moorestown’s Main Street, and this year’s event organizers are expanding the festivities. Inspired by a traditional Nantucket event held each year to herald springtime, Moorestown’s Daffodil Day will welcome the season with a variety of activities for the whole family.

“We’re looking forward to bringing people outside after a long winter to walk Main Street and enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment,” said MBA President Steven Pazienza. Event chair Melissa McGrath added, “There will be a lot to see and do, and everyone is invited to get in the spirit and wear yellow to join the fun!”

Merchants along Main Street will offer seasonal items, menus and services, and the section of Main Street between Chester Avenue and Church Street will be lined with spring-related amusements, activities, daffodils and decorations. There will be sidewalk art displays and works for sale by local artists and a continuous lineup of live music (provided by Sustainable Moorestown’s Moorestown Creates! committee).
