A Celebration Of Roald Dahl At The Moorestown Library In September

The month-long celebration includes a Roald Dahl Film Festival.

Moorestown, NJ -- The Moorestown Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5, in observance of Labor Day.
After that, September will be a month of celebrations in honor of Roald Dahl.

Dahl is the British author who wrote “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” and the celebration comes in the wake of the death of Gene Wilder, who played Willy Wonka in the wildly popular movie adaptation of the story.

Sept. 13 is Roald Dahl’s birthday. In honor of this event, children will be able to stop by the library anytime between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and pick up a book to keep.
