Cherry Hill Woman Shot Paintballs at Cars at Moorestown Mall: Police

Lila Marks was arrested late Tuesday night.

Moorestown, NJ -- A Cherry Hill woman and three juveniles from Cherry Hill were arrested for shooting paintballs at vehicles at the Moorestown Mall, Moorestown Police said Wednesday morning.

A 35-year-old mall employee was struck in the abdomen during the incident, but declined medical treatment, police said.

Lila Marks, 28, was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and criminal mischief.
Police responded to the mall at about 11:55 p.m. Tuesday night for complaints of people in a White Ford pickup truck shooting paintballs at vehicles.

Two paintball guns and ammo were recovered from the vehicle, police said. Marks was accompanied by two boys and one girl, all under the age of 18, according to police.

Bail was set for Marks at $10,000 with 10% bail, which was posted for Marks.

She was released pending a court appearance.
