Choice Is Clear In Moorestown Council Race, Reader Writes

Matt Amberg explains why he's voting for Barbara Omert, Doug Maute, and Vick Bobadilla in the letter to the editor.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A Moorestown resident writes that township voters have a clear choice in November's local elections. Matt Amberg explains why he's voting for Barbara Omert, Doug Maute, and Vick Bobadilla in the letter to the editor that can be found below.

To the Editor:

In the next few weeks, Moorestown will send back our Vote-by-Mail ballots and make a choice that impacts the direction of our town for the next four years. Regardless of how you plan on voting in other races, the race for Town Council is a clear choice. Moorestown needs Barbara Omert, Doug Maute, and Vick Bobadilla on Town Council.

Barbara, Doug, and Vick have committed to stopping unnecessary tax increases, building a better dialogue with residents, and conducting the town's business in full transparency. They won't make decisions on Township appointments based on partisan affiliation, but on a resident's commitment to serving their community.

They will kick-start projects that have stalled for far too long, like the Lenola streetscape project and Percheron Park, and will work hard to keep the national vitriol out of our small town politics.

When you cast a vote for Omert, Maute, and Bobadilla, you are voting to place the people of Moorestown back in the driver's seat and stop the partisan games that we've seen from both political parties for far too long.

I'm voting for a fresh start that's long past due. When you vote, please consider joining me in voting for Barbara Omert, Doug Maute, and Vick Bobadilla in Column 2.
