Continuum Health Alliance Hires Roy T. Santarella as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer; Susan M. DiBiase Lutz as SVP Sales, Marketing & Product Development
Marlton, NJ – March 18, 2013 – Continuum Health Alliance (―Continuum‖), an ambulatory care services company, and its president, Christopher T. Olivia, MD announce that Roy T. Santarella has been hired as Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer, and Susan M. DiBiase Lutz has been hired as Senior Vice President Sales, Marketing & Product Development. Both Mr. Santarella and Ms. Lutz will help further expand the company’s proprietary managed platform for Population Health Management, Practice Management and Community Care services.
Roy T. Santarella brings more than 30 years of healthcare management consulting expertise to Continuum Health Alliance, ranging from senior executive positions at nationally ranked academic medical centers to President and founder of a healthcare technology company. As Continuum’s Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Santarella provides strategic leadership and oversight for the financial, customer service, administrative and human resource divisions within the company. Prior to joining Continuum, Mr. Santarella served as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for West Penn Allegheny Health System, an academic medical center with six hospitals, 1,200 physicians and 500 physician offices, where he led the turnaround and increased the value to over $1.2 billion. Mr. Santarella helped develop and negotiate the sale of the system to a private insurer; creating the second largest fully integrated provider network in the country. In the past, Mr. Santarella also served as CFO for Crozer Keystone Health System and Stanford University Medical Center.
Susan M. DiBiase Lutz has 30 years of multidisciplinary global experience in executive management, next generation technology and implementation, business development, marketing, product development, engineering, strategic planning and profit and loss management. In her role at Continuum, Ms. Lutz oversees sales, marketing and product development, and develops the company’s managed services platform. Prior to joining Continuum, Ms. Lutz was a successful serial entrepreneur who founded ETSec, Inc., TrustELI Inc., Retelcom, LLC and SecureIT, executing the successful sale of the first three (including a sale to VeriSign), and overseeing a successful International IPO of the fourth. In 2010, ETSec and TrustELI were acquired by a JP Morgan Company. Her expertise in building successful businesses and her extensive experience in healthcare technology and information security have been applied throughout the world - including Singapore, the Philippines, London and New York. Ms. Lutz served over five years internationally in both Europe and Asia.
