
Moorestown, NJ -- The Moorestown Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Cookie and Cake Summer Camp in July.
This four day camp will cover the basics of baking including measurements, ratios and proportions, according to the department’s Facebook page. Children will be given hands-on instructions for making favorites such as cookies, cupcakes, muffins and pies. Food prepared in class will be available to take home and enjoy afterwards.
The camp will be held July 11-14, 9:30 a.m.-noon each day at the Church Street Recreation Center, 3rd Floor Commercial Kitchen.

The fee is $120 for residents, $140 for non-residents, and it is for children in Grades 5-7. Registration is at Community Pass under Summer: 2016.
Katie Sklarow is the chef instructor. Skarlow has been cooking and teaching professionally for over five years, according to the post.
