Collingswood Restaurant Week

Downtown Collingswood

Come by Downtown Collingswood for their "Everything is Better with Bacon" themed restaurant week! Participating restaurants will be offering prix fixe menus, a multi-course meal with a set price. Individual eateries determine the prices and the number of courses. Guests should RSVP directly to the restaurant and make reservations early. Shinrin Yoku Wellness Walk

Whitesbog Village, Browns Mills

This guided nature walk at Whitesbog Village incorporates the Japanese practice of Sinrin-Yoku, which translates to “forest bathing” or “nature immersion.” This practice reduces stress and promotes health and well-being through contact with nature using sensory awareness and mindfulness activities. Shinrin-Yoku walks have been shown to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, elevate mood, boost the immune system, and improve sleep. Wear appropriate attire for the weather.

Laser Zeppelin

Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University, Glassboro

The Edelman Planetarium's laser light show uses a new state of the art projection system from Laser Fantasy to treat your eyes and ears to a unique experience of your favorite bands! Guests can enjoy classic songs from Led Zeppelin including “In the Evening,” “Ramble On,” “Black Dog,” “Stairway to Heaven,” “D’yer Mak’er,” and many more! Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children, seniors, and Rowan students.

Moonlight & Magnolias

The Eagle Theatre, Hammonton

Legendary producer David O. Selznick has shut down production of his new epic, Gone with the Wind, a film adaption of Margaret Mitchell's novel. The screen play just doesn't work. Selznick sends for screenwriter Ben Hecht and pulls director Victor Fleming from the set of The Wizard of Oz. Summoning them both to his office, he locks the doors, closes the shades, and on a diet of bananas and peanuts, the three men labor over five days. You won't want to miss this hilarious tour de force as three men act out each role of the blueprint for the most successful and beloved film of all time! The show runs through April 29th.

BatonaTrail Hike

Pinelands Adventures, Shamong

Get your hiking shoes out for a hike along the Batona Trail with guide John Volpa. Pinelands Adventures’ eight-mile hike will be at a moderate pace with frequent stops for stories and exploration of the Pine Barrens flora and fauna in wetlands and uplands. Dress in layers for the weather and bring water, snacks, and lunch.

Moorestown’s Daffodil Day

Celebrate spring with the Morrestown Business Association at the 3rd Annual Daffodil Day! All along Main Street there will be live music, seasonal activities, art demonstrations and displays, and sidewalk sales and store specials.
