Delays Expected By Moorestown's Westfield Road When Roadwork Begins

Burlington County officials expect pavement milling and overlay work to take about 3 weeks.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Burlington County officials expect work to resurface a portion of Westfield Road/Tom Brown Road in Moorestown to begin July 5 and take roughly three weeks.

The work area will stretch 3.6 miles on the roadway — also known as Route 614 — between Centerton Road and Route 603. Traffic will be maintained through the work area, but drivers will likely experience delays and are advised to seek alternate routes.

Earle Asphalt Co., of Farmingdale, is performing the work as part of Burlington County's State Funded Overlay Program. County officials expect 34.2 miles of roads in 13 municipalities to get resurfaced through shared shared state and county funding.
