Disney's The Lion King Jr. Opens Thursday Night in Moorestown
There will be four performances this weekend.
Moorestown, NJ -- Our Lady Of Good Counsel School’s Drama Club’s production of "Disney’s The Lion King, Jr." begins Thursday night.
The first performance of the double-cast production is Thursday night, April 14, 7:30 p.m. in the school’s multi-purpose room. The ‘Green Cast’ will give the first performance.
This classic family musical, features great songs like “Circle Of Life”, “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King”, “Be Prepared”, “They Live In You”, “Hakuna Matata”, “Shadowland”, and “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?”

The cast consists of 41 students in fifth-, sixth- and seventh-grade, and six additional students on the Stage Crew.
This musical is adapted for pre-high school students, is suitable for an all-ages audience, and is directed by parishioner Mark Morgan. Morgan is the Artistic Director for the Moorestown Theater Company, which produces the Our Lady of Good Counsel School’s Drama Club.

Friday, April 15 – 7:30 p.m. (‘White’ Cast)
Saturday, April 16 – 7:30 p.m. (‘Green’ Cast)
All tickets are reserved and are $12. Children 3-and-under get in free, but must sit on the lap of a ticket buyer.
