Wine Tasting Benefit Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice

On Saturday, May 19, 2012 Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice will host a very special wine tasting event which will benefit the charitable home care, hospice and counseling programs of the non-profit organization headquartered in Moorestown, NJ.

The Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice 4th Annual Wine Tasting Benefit will be held on Saturday, May 19h from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at 300 Harper Drive, Moorestown, NJ.  The Wine Tasting Benefit is presented by the Wine Cellar of Cinnaminson, NJ, and will offer an abundance of choices of both domestic and international vintages.  Wine experts will be on hand to answer questions, a variety of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres will be served, and a silent auction will feature many one-of-a-kind items.   A limited micro brew sampling will also be available.  Several local restaurants will offer appetizer and dessert samplings, each pairing their house specialty with an appropriate wine.

 Participating restaurants include The Chop House of Gibbsboro, Barone’s Tuscan Grill of Moorestown, Marcello’s Ristorante and Flemings Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, both of Marlton, and Anthony Michael’s Catering of Medford.  Desserts will be provided by Seasons 52 of Cherry Hill, JB Bakery of Burlington, The Fudge Artist of Moorestown, Al Dente Restaurant of Moorestown, and Oh Sugah! of Moorestown.

This year’s evening promises to be bigger than ever, and the organization has added a massive outdoor tent to accommodate the growing number of guests, participants and activities.  The {MORE} Wine Tasting has become a local “must-attend” and offers the opportunity to meet and greet wine enthusiasts and other VIP’s from throughout the area.               

Proceeds from the Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice Wine Tasting benefit patients and their families in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties.  Proceeds also help support The Hospice of Moorestown VNA’s Camp Firefly, a free overnight camp for children who are grieving following the death of a parent, sibling, or other special person.
