About 70 residents and staff took in Monday's Solar Eclipse.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — About 70 residents and staff at The Evergreens, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Moorestown, gathered to view the Solar Eclipse on Monday, Aug. 21.
They gathered on The Evergreens’ grounds to watch the eclipse, the first of its kind to cross the entire North American continent in nearly a century. The Evergreens had special solar eclipse glasses on hand so residents and staff could watch the astronomical event safely.
Treats such as Sun Chips and homemade Milky Way bars made by the Dining Services culinary team, were available inside the facility. There was also event-themed music including “Here Comes the Sun” and “Fly Me to the Moon.”
