Excessive Amounts Of Lead Found In Drinking Water In Moorestown Schools
Remedial action is already under way, according to the Courier Post.

Moorestown, NJ -- Water samples in five of the six schools in Moorestown have tested positive for higher than acceptable amounts of lead, the Courier Post reports.
Six percent of samples taken from throughout the district contain excessive amounts of lead, according to the report. The William Allen Middle School was the only school in the district in which the water didn’t contain high lead levels.
The district has already taken some water fountains out of service, and signs that read "Do not Drink. Safe for Hand Washing Only" have been posted, according to the report.Other remedial actions are already under way, and other actions will be taken under state guidelines.
