Family Mourns Loving Family Man, Retired Carpenter From Moorestown

Michael Allen, age 63, of Moorestown, NJ, died on Sept. 6, 2016.

Michael was a retired carpenter that had outstanding knowledge and skill which he continued to share with his family and friends.

He enjoyed reading, fishing and running his border collie Joey to chase geese, but will be remembered most for his love of his family.

Beloved husband of Karen (nee Sherer). Loving father of Melanie Allen and her fiancé Art Aksamit. Beloved son of Margaret Allen and the late Leo Patrick Allen. Also survived by his sister Garet Allen Malley and her husband Wally, Barbara Allen Hagen and her husband G.A., Thomas Allen and his wife Suni, Daniel Allen and the late Patrick Allen as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main St. Moorestown, NJ.

Viewing is 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St. Moorestown, NJ. Interment will be private.
