Fire Breaks Out In South Jersey Backyard, Officials Say
Warped siding can be seen on a neighbor's home along Crosswicks Road.

BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ — A house fire broke out and spread to a neighbor's home on Wednesday afternoon in Bordentown Township.
At around 1:30 p.m., officials responded to 188 Crosswicks Road (Rt. 528) and found that a fire was in the back of the building.

The siding of a neighbor's home was left warped from the heat of the flames.

No injuries were reported, according to Bordentown Township Fire Department Chief Robert MacFarland, and the cause of the fire is still under review.


The road was closed in the area for around an hour and a half as crews responded, but has now reopened to normal traffic.
