Food Pantry Seeks Donations In Moorestown
The First Baptist Church of Moorestown's food pantry helps between 180 and 200 people weekly in the municipality and surrounding area.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The rising cost of food and other necessities has left the First Baptist Church of Moorestown looking for help stocking its food shelves, church members said.
Thus, the church will host a collection drive from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday in the parking lot at the First Baptist Church of Moorestown on West Main Street.
Below are the non-perishable items that are needed the most, according to church members:

- Shelf-stable milk, dry cereal, pancake mix and syrup
- Canned chicken, canned tuna, Spam, Vienna sausage, canned sardines, canned salmon, peanut butter and Colby Jack cheese sticks
- Pasta, sauce, Chicken Helper, Tuna Helper, rice and canned pasta
- Canned or jarred fruit or applesauce
- Soap, deodorant, laundry detergent (pods only, please) disposable razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes and diapers
- Dry cat and dog food
The food pantry helps between 180 and 200 people weekly in Moorestown and the surrounding area who are experiencing food insecurity or otherwise struggling to make ends meet, organizers said.
