MOORESTOWN, NJ — Wawa will provide free coffee at all of its stores for "Wawa Day," which occurs Thursday. But the Moorestown store will play a special role in the celebration.

During Wawa Day, the chain will hold special "day-brightening" events at 10 stores, including Moorestown's, to honor customers, employees, communities and charitable partners. The event will include a celebration of the Moorestown staff and the presentation of a $50,000 check to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Wawa Day celebrates the retailer's opening in April 1964. Beginning with one location in Folson, Pennsylvania, the chain now has roughly 950 stores and continues to expand.
